Work with Nicole: Research

Research is most meaningful when it centers lived experience and leads to action.

I partner with organizations to design and implement community-informed research that surfaces what matters most—whether you’re exploring a question, documenting impact, or laying the foundation for a new strategy or initiative.

From co-creating research questions to sense-making with your team, I bring a collaborative, equity-centered approach that treats research as more than a deliverable. It’s a process of listening, learning, and aligning your work with the people and communities you serve.

Let’s become research partners

What It Is:

This service helps you better understand the communities you serve, the systems you navigate, or the internal dynamics shaping your work. Whether you’re engaging stakeholders, testing assumptions, or building evidence for change, I help turn insights into meaningful direction.

How I Work:

I approach research as a strategic learning process—rooted in Reproductive Justice, participatory methods, and deep respect for lived experience. I work closely with you to shape your research purpose, design the process, and ensure findings support reflection, storytelling, and decision-making.

I’m not just collecting data for you—I’m creating space for discovery and direction with you.

What This Can Include:

  • Designing and facilitating interviews, focus groups, or community conversations

  • Co-developing research questions, data collection tools, and protocols

  • Conducting desk reviews or field scans to inform strategy

  • Analyzing qualitative data with equity and context in mind

  • Supporting sense-making sessions to move from data to insight to action

  • Translating findings into summary reports, strategic memos, or visual tools

Ideal Fit:

This service is a good fit if your organization:

  • Wants to engage stakeholders in shaping strategy or decision-making

  • Needs insight to inform a new initiative or evaluate an existing one

  • Believes that research should be participatory, relational, and equity-centered

  • Is looking for a thought partner—not just someone to run a survey and write a report
